About Jason
I graduated from UC Berkeley with majors in Economics and Statistics as well as a minor in Mathematics. While in college, I was trained by faculty in the Education Department where we applied concepts on teaching in the Athletics Tutor Program. In the process, I was able to earn the position of being the most requested tutor. After graduation, I worked in the actuarial field where I was able to apply my majors in solving real-world problems. Since then I have had much success working with students at the college level. Over 15 years experience has exposed me to material from all over the nation at many top universities. I pride myself in being able to convey not only the method of solving problems but also the intuition and theory behind it. A curious student wanting to understand the 'why' in addition to the 'how' and 'what' would find an excellent ally and force multiplier in me.
