About Mila

Hi there! 你好！I'm currently a postgraduate student (software engineering) at UWA. At the moment, I'm tutoring a 14-year-old Australian girl in Chinese character writing. I used to teach Mandarin and Chinese culture in Europe (in a local governmental organization). I'm a Mandarin native speaker and I also know Cantonese. I taught Chinese in an interactive way and received positive feedback before.

My latest IELTS (Cambridge English Assessment) test score is 7.5, top 3% of mainland China. I'd be able to communicate with you in an easy-to-understand way.

About the lesson

- I encourage people to speak Mandarin and celebrate every little progress with my students
- patient and encouraging enough to be a potential lifelong friend
- I'd like to share the tea culture, music, festivals, customs, cultural heritage, food culture and etc. I believe language learning could be interesting and rewarding
- sessions could be tailored to your needs
