About Luis

I’m originally from Bonaire and played college tennis in the United States before moving into coaching at a high level. Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked with a wide range of players — from college athletes and professional players to juniors and adult beginners.

My background as both a competitive player and coach allows me to bring structure, clarity, and purpose to every session. I focus on technical development, smart movement, and building confidence on court so players see real progress, not just a good workout.

Whether you’re new to tennis or aiming to compete at a higher level, I tailor each lesson to your goals and playing style.

About the lesson

My coaching style is focused, technical, and tailored to the individual. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to tennis, or looking to compete at a higher level, I’ll build sessions that give you clear progress every week.

I specialise in:
• Technical stroke development
• Footwork and movement
• Match play strategy and point construction
• Confidence and consistency under pressure
• Junior development and competitive training

I’ve worked with players of all ages and levels (from 4 year old to adults), and I bring the same standards and structure used in US college programmes to every session.

Who the lessons are for
• Beginners who want to learn properly from the start
• Adults returning to tennis after a break
• Club players wanting to improve match performance
• Juniors preparing for competitive tennis
• Parents looking for high-quality coaching for their children

What you can expect
• Clear, structured sessions (not just hitting balls)
• Immediate feedback and technical corrections
• Drills that translate directly into match play
• Professional, reliable coaching environment
