About Maliya
I’m a patient and supportive tutor who helps students improve their writing, reading, and overall communication skills in a way that feels clear and manageable. My goal is to make learning less stressful and more approachable by breaking concepts down step by step and helping students build real confidence in their abilities.
I have experience working with students in both academic and creative settings, and I focus on meeting each learner where they are. Whether it’s essay writing, reading comprehension, or creative storytelling, I aim to help students understand not just what to write, but how to think through their ideas more clearly.
I take pride in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the process. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, with the goal of steady improvement and long-term success in their writing skills.

My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and personalized to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence while helping students improve their writing, reading comprehension, creativity, and communication skills. A typical lesson includes reviewing assignments, practicing writing techniques, brainstorming ideas, and giving step-by-step feedback in a relaxed, encouraging environment. What sets me apart is my creative approach to teaching and my ability to make students feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment. My lessons are best for middle school, high school, and beginner college students who need help with essays, creative writing, storytelling, or overall writing confidence.
