About Tom
I am a highly experienced and successful teacher and tutor of A Level Economics. I led a faculty of 8 teachers at Eton, including running the Oxbridge programme, which was the most successful in the school and, arguably, the UK. My personal results were the best in the department. I have been Academic Deputy and Senior Deputy at a leading HMC school, so have comprehensive knowledge of the UK education system.
I am very recently 'semi-retired' and have limited tutoring slots available.

Online only. I will quickly establish your level and aspirations and will work with you to achieve your goals. Expect to be worked hard, but you will get great satisfaction from mastering the content and technique, and from connecting economics to the real world.
For Oxford candidates (PPE, E&M), the main hurdle is the TARA test (formerly TSA). High scores correlate very closely to offers. We will break down the test by question type: rapid improvement can be made with suitable instruction. I offer practice interviews for Cambridge Economics.
My rates are higher for Oxbridge prep.
