I believe in keeping things simple. Together we will go through monologues that spark your curiosity so that you enjoy what you're working on which is key in delivering any text with conviction.
We will focus on releasing the voice and the body so you learn to induce relaxation which in turn will allow your imagination to work and reduce anxiety prior to your audition.
We will also work on audition technique which includes stage craft, sight-reading, text analysis, practical voice, especially 'redirection' so you're fully prepared for whatever a panel throws at you.
At the end of the day you're going to have to get up there and do the audition, so as soon as we get the prep done most of our time together will be 'playing' which is probably why you wanted to go on this journey in the first place!

Divesh is an amazing teacher, has years of experience from some of the best drama schools in London so you know you’re in capable hands! He’s very knowledgeable on monologues, texts and different exercises and is a great help, no matter what level you are currently at! He instantly puts you at ease and I would highly recommend.
Divesh is an affable, motivating and empowering instructor. His graduation from top UK drama schools (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama) is testament to his talent and ability. I would strongly recommend him to those who are looking for guidance on the competitive admissions process into drama school as well as those simply looking to refine their theatrical skills!
