About Carien
I’m a qualified teacher with a teaching degree, over 13 years of teaching experience, and a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I believe in the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy, where structured lessons are designed to encourage students to share their own ideas, explore language naturally, and learn collaboratively.
This approach creates a fun, interactive, and supportive environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, and express themselves in English. I combine professional experience with engaging methods to make every lesson both enjoyable and effective.
