About Alexandra
My name is Alexandra, and I’m a passionate, qualified teacher with over seven years of experience in the classroom. I’ve taught in both South Africa and the UAE, working with students from a wide range of backgrounds. I’ve always been drawn to teaching because I genuinely care about helping others grow. Watching a student gain confidence, overcome challenges, and start believing in themselves is what inspires me every day. Teaching isn’t just my profession—it’s something I find deeply meaningful.

Hi! I’m a private tutor who believes that learning works best when it’s personalized and fun. My lessons are all about adapting to you—your goals, your pace, and your learning style. I teach English (and I’m also fluent in Afrikaans), and I like to keep my lessons engaging with a mix of conversation, visuals, games, and real-life examples. You can expect a relaxed, supportive space where we focus on building your confidence and skills step by step. I work with both kids and adults, whether you’re just starting out, brushing up on your English for work, or looking to improve your everyday communication. Every lesson is designed to help you feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to grow.
