About Jerry
【Are you a BEGINNER (N5) or an INTERMEDIATE (N4-N5) Motivated Japanese Learner?】
I am a Japanese learner myself. I started learning Japanese four years ago because I love anime. I studied for 1 year in Tokyo from September, July, to August 2024.
Now, I passed JLPT N1 and N3. So I know the language pretty well.
If you are looking for a tutor who knows the struggle of a student learning Japanese, then you are in the right place.
If you are a beginner and Intermediate Japanese learner and want to learn from an experienced Japanese learner, you're in the right place.
If you love anime, if you love Japanese songs and want to travel to Japan after you know some.Japanese, you are in the right place.
I can explain Japanese grammar in English, Chinese, and Cantonese, so that you will actually understand.

I teach Japanese with videos and online textbooks. It's that simple.
I focus on explaining grammar clearly, from a learner's perspective, because I am a Japanese learner who started from knowing nothing four years ago too.
Bonus: I can speak English, Chinese and Cantonese, so if you speak those languages, you're in the right place.

I highly recommend my Japanese tutor, Jerry! He is very friendly and patient, which made my first lesson such a positive experience. I loved how he used videos to teach—it made the session enjoyable and interactive. I’m excited to continue learning with his guidance! He loves anime and Japan too.
