About Mason

As a fourth-year Civil Engineering student at The Ohio State University, I offer a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience to my tutoring position. With a cumulative GPA of 3.33, I've acquired a strong foundation in math and science. I was accomplishing challenging courses such as Mechanics of Materials, Statics, Dynamics, Water Resources, Optimization, Transportation, and Environmental Engineering, among others. My professional internships at KPFF Consulting Engineers and ENGEO Incorporated gave me hands-on experience in civil engineering projects, drafting, design operations, construction inspection, and soil density testing with specialized tools. I have become proficient in software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and SOLIDWORKS. In addition, I was a Team Captain for Corona Del Mar High School's State Championship Football Team developed my competitive spirit, rigorous attention to detail, and hopeful attitude toward teamwork and collaboration. As a tutor, I use my extensive academic experience, technical skills, and interpersonal abilities to provide students with customized assistance and support in mathematics, physics, and engineering-related topics. My dedication to excellence, professionalism, and passion for education provide a supportive learning environment that is suited to individual learning styles, promoting academic achievement and empowering students to reach their goals.
