About Shannon
I am currently a fourth year university student, and I am incredibly passionate about academia. I currently have a 3.7 GPA (80 average), and performed well in high school, graduating with a 4.0 GPA (89 average). I intend to graduate with a Bachelors of Arts Honours degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice and Public Policy come fall 2023, and then go on to pursue both a Masters and then a PHD. I was also a camp counsellor for several years, so I work well with students of any age and love to connect with others. A typical lesson plan with me would include going over whatever it is that you find that you personally are struggling with, and if you (or your child) are comfortable, I'd love to read over any past essays to understand your (or your child's) writing style. If we are focussing on essays in general, we would go over how to build and properly format an essay. However, if we are going over a specific essay, I would be happy to help you format, collect research, and execute the essay. I am more than happy to edit it as well once it is finished! For oral presentations, we can go over what is specifically holding you back and take it step by step to ensure you're ready for your presentation! My goal is to become a University Professor, so I have a passion for teaching and research. I am most comfortable working with high school aged students, but open to anything!
