About Nicole
Having grown up surrounded by many amazing teachers, both in and out of school, who have had a significant influence on my educational experience and shaped me as an individual, which includes acting as a support network for my goals, I believe that teachers play a major role in any student's life. I feel that it would be hugely rewarding to know that I have made a valuable contribution towards a student's growth and ability to achieve to their potential. As a tutor I would love to have the opportunity to give my students a meaningful educational experience that allows them to prosper both academically and in their confidence.

Lessons are student-oriented, with a focus on the goals/expectations of the student. This may involve walking them through exam questions, helping them stay organised and motivated, and providing a general sense of guidance regarding the entry scheme and requirements for the clinical programmes available at UOA i.e Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, and Medical Imaging. Lesson lengths can be tailored to the student's preference and can be held multiple times each week. I am available over zoom or in person.
I have many years of experience as both a formal and informal tutor, in subjects such as English, History, Science, Biology, and Social Studies, as well as being a WiHN mentor for a first year Biomedical science student who successfully entered Medicine.
My lessons are targeted at students studying a degree of Biomedical Science or Health Science to get into a clinical programme, as well as second and third year Medical students.
