About William
I am a freelance writer with a college degree, as well as a teacher-in-training. I have over a year of experience writing several articles and blogs for multiple publications. I am currently working on my TEFL certificate so that I may teach English abroad. I have been giving lessons for a couple of months now. I'm working with three students to help improve their proficiency in the language. So far, I have helped them to be comfortable in casual conversations and have expanded their vocabularies to include common American English words and phrases. And the work continues.

I teach second-learners of all ages and my goal is to help them improve both their receptive (reading and listening) and productive (writing and speaking) skills; for any and all occasions. I get to know my students and their specific goals in learning the language. I gauge their level of proficiency according to the CEFR (A1-C2). I tailor exercises to their needs and encourage them to practice what they have learned beyond the classroom. I also offer extracurricular resources they can use to improve their resources.
