About Emma

Hello, my name is Emma , I am 25 years old and blessed with a unique heritage as both French and Irish. As a bilingual tutor with a passion for teaching, I offer a unique perspective, blending both French and Irish cultures into my lessons.

Having gained valuable experience giving English lessons in France from ages 17 to 19, I discovered the true rewards of tutoring. Now, having lived in Galway for 10 months, I am thrilled to reconnect with tutoring and share my language expertise.

Starting a Postgraduate degree at the University of Galway in September, I am dedicated to providing a personalized and professional approach to your language journey. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, where you feel at ease exploring and expressing yourself in French.

I am committed to helping you develop essential language skills with confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. With my diverse background and unwavering commitment to your success, I am excited to embark on this enriching language journey together.

Let's work collaboratively to achieve your language goals and make learning French an enjoyable and fulfilling experience!

About the lesson

• Techniques and Teaching Methodology: Implement interactive and communicative methods, such as role-plays, games, and real-life scenarios. Emphasize speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills to ensure well-rounded language development.

• Typical Length of a Lesson: Standard lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing enough time for practice, explanations, and activities. However, shorter or longer sessions can be tailored to students' needs.

• Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: As a bilingual tutor, I have a solid grasp of language nuances and cultural aspects, enabling effective communication and cultural context in lessons.

• Target Audience for Lessons: Lessons are tailored to learners of all levels and ages. Whether students need help with grammar, pronunciation, exam preparation, or conversational skills, lessons are adapted to suit their specific needs and goals.
