About Princilya

I'm Princilya, founder of Eureka Language. Native bilingual, born and raised in Montreal, teaching French since 2018.

I specialise in one thing: exams with real consequences. TEF Canada and TCF Canada for permanent residency and citizenship, TEFAQ for Quebec immigration. My clients come to me because a file, a permit or a job depends on the result, and they can't afford to spend six months discovering the method wasn't working.

My background is corporate as well as private. I've run French programmes for IBM, Alstom, Lindt, the United Nations and the Government of Canada, so I'm used to working with people who are competent, busy, and impatient with anything that wastes their time.

My approach isn't textbook drills. Every session is built on real conversation: role-plays, workplace scenarios, and the exact situations you'll face, whether that's an examiner's question or a meeting with your team. I correct in real time, and I build the plan around your target score and your test date, not a generic curriculum.

Because English is also my native language, I can explain a French structure in English when that's faster, then take the English away from you. That's often what unblocks people who have been stuck at the same level for years.

I'm currently completing the FSEA adult trainer certification, the Swiss federal standard for adult education.

Results. My students pass. The most recent TEF candidate I coached cleared her exam after a few weeks of targeted preparation, and my reviews here come from people in the same situation you're in.

If you're serious about making progress rather than just practising, send me your current level, your exam and your test date. I'll tell you honestly whether the timeline is realistic. Book a first class and we'll build the plan together.

I specialise in TEF Canada, TEFAQ and TCF Canada for permanent residency, Quebec immigration and citizenship, and in professional French for people who use it at work.

My approach is simple: real conversation, role-play built from your actual life, and correction in real time. No textbook drills.

How the coaching works

• Session one is a diagnostic. I assess your real level against the score you need, and I tell you honestly whether your test date is realistic. If it isn't, I'll say so.

• We work backwards from your date. The four skills are weighted by where you're actually losing points, not spread evenly for the sake of it.

• We speak from the first two minutes. I correct inside the conversation instead of interrupting it, then we drill the correction until it's automatic.

• You practise under real exam conditions. Real timing, real formats, real scoring criteria, so nothing on the day is a surprise.

• Between sessions you get materials built from your own mistakes, not a generic worksheet. Every week is different because your errors are different.

• Before the exam, a full scored mock, with a written breakdown of what to fix in the time you have left.

For professional French, the same method applies to your world instead of the exam: your meetings, your emails, your clients, your sector.

Format. 60 or 90 minute sessions, online or in person in Montreal. Weekly or intensive depending on your deadline. Coaching available in French or English, whichever gets you there faster.

Not sure where you're starting from? Book a first class. I'll assess your level, hear your goal, and build the plan from there. No pressure, just a clear next step.
