About Johan
Bonjour! I’m Johan, a native French speaker with a passion for teaching and helping students feel confident in their language skills. I’ve spent 17 years in France and 15 years in the US, so I deeply understand both languages and cultures. This allows me to explain concepts clearly and make learning natural, practical, and fun. I have experience tutoring students of all levels, from beginners to those needing help with French homework. My approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s needs, whether you’re learning for travel, school, or personal enrichment. What makes my lessons unique? I don’t just teach grammar and vocabulary—I immerse students in French culture through movies, music, and even local recommendations to experience a bit of France right here! I am patient, supportive, and dedicated to helping you progress quickly. Many of my students start feeling comfortable speaking French in just 10 lessons! If you’re ready to start, I’d love to help you achieve your French language goals. Let’s make learning French engaging, effective, and enjoyable!
