Jocelyn is a wonderful French tutor! He is patient, kind, professional, and makes every online lesson engaging and enjoyable. Jojo’s curriculum is thorough, well paced and immersive if needed. The teacher Anne-Laure is really patient and pleasant to work with, as he has a good sense of what one’s sticking points are. Would def recommend their French curriculum as the language is coming back to me quicker than I would have expected.

I really enjoy my French classes with Jojo. What I like most is that we practice a lot of conversation, always around interesting topics. For me, this is the most important part of learning a language.

I also really appreciate the grammar work, especially conjugation. My favorite classes are the ones that combine conversation and grammar, because when I try to express myself, I often realize that there are grammatical points I’m still missing. Jojo is very good at identifying these difficulties and explaining them clearly.

Jocelyn uses an excellent methodology that strengthens grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills, combined with digital solutions that make lessons easier and more efficient. Jojo is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. I think that's one of the hardest things to learn and the concentration on that is great.
