Hi, I’m Christina. I’m American and I’ve been living in Paris for over 15 years.
I teach beginner to intermediate French, with a strong focus on actually speaking as quickly as possible. My goal is to get you comfortable communicating in real-life situations, not stuck overthinking grammar. We focus on essential vocabulary, natural phrasing, and building confidence so you can actually use the language.
I also create a customized guide for each student that we build over time, so you always have a clear, simple reference for what you’re learning and how to practice.
Outside of teaching, I’ve helped a lot of people navigate moving to France over the years - different visa situations, what daily life is really like, how things work here, and whether it’s actually the right fit for them. I genuinely enjoy those conversations, so if that’s something you’re thinking about, we can absolutely talk about that as part of our sessions.
My goal is for you to quickly feel comfortable speaking French and give you a realistic understanding of life here if that’s where you’re headed.
