About Stephanie
I am a French teacher, a translator and editor from Montreal (QC) now living in Golden (BC). I have been teaching since 2007; I started as a teacher assistant while I was completing a Bachelor Degree in Applied Linguistics, and now I teach small groups and give private lessons, here in my home town and online by Video Messenger or Skype.

I believe that learning is easier when students have fun, so I create material that involves playing games and doing activities. As a linguist, I have a structural approach, using what languages all have in common as a base for a smooth learning progression and an understanding beyond words, including non verbal communication.
