About Reese
My passion for French began with its elegance and expressive rhythm. Over nine years of teaching, I have helped students develop fluency, confidence, and cultural appreciation. Teaching French allows me to share the richness of the language while guiding learners toward both technical mastery and authentic expression. I teach with patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm. Lessons are interactive, encouraging active participation while tailoring instruction to individual goals. I combine grammar, conversation, and cultural insights to make learning both practical and inspiring. Outside the classroom, I engage with French media, literature, and cultural events to stay immersed in the language. Teaching French is more than instruction—it is helping students open doors to new perspectives, experiences, and connections. Watching learners grow into confident speakers remains deeply rewarding.

French lessons are designed to immerse students in both language and culture, blending grammar, vocabulary, conversation, and comprehension with engaging cultural content. I create a warm, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and communicate confidently. Lessons integrate discussion, literature, media, and authentic French materials, helping learners connect language skills to real-world situations while fostering curiosity and enjoyment.
Beginners focus on essential phrases, pronunciation, and basic grammar to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners develop dialogue skills, reading comprehension, and writing accuracy, while advanced students refine fluency, idiomatic expression, and advanced conversation techniques. Assignments include oral exercises, written projects, and cultural exploration tasks designed to deepen understanding and reinforce skills. Each lesson balances structure and creativity to maintain engagement and progress.
French lessons aim to cultivate confident, articulate communicators. Students gain not only language proficiency but also a deeper appreciation of French culture, art, and society. Many have successfully used their skills for travel, study abroad, or professional purposes, while others enjoy a personal sense of achievement and cultural connection. My goal is to make learning French a meaningful, enjoyable, and transformative experience.
