About Elise
My teaching methodology for French is centered on practical, real-world learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect the language to everyday situations, from casual conversations and travel dialogues to professional and academic contexts. This approach ensures that learners not only understand grammar and vocabulary but can confidently apply them in authentic settings. I set clear, achievable goals for each student and track progress consistently, helping learners stay motivated and focused. Alongside this, I bring compassion to every session, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — essential steps in mastering a new language. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to each student’s individual needs, learning pace, and interests. Whether focusing on speaking, writing, reading, or cultural insights, I ensure lessons are personalized and engaging. In addition to French, I can teach related subjects such as literature and cultural studies, providing a holistic and well-rounded learning experience for all students.
