About Nuala
DBS checked, over 18, experience in working with kids through gymnastics coaching, tutoring and babysitting. I studied A-levels French, English and Psychology and am hoping to live in France at some point in the future. I plan to take a gap year teaching English in France and working as an au pair. I was lucky enough to spend my childhood summers in France so adore the country, and I even have a French pen pal with whom I speak French with regularly! My school has hosted an exchange recently where I toured French teachers and students around the school as well as helped them in translating games we played.

Hello! My name is Nuala and I’m an 18-year-old girl who’s just finished French A-level. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE and am predicted an A* at A-level. French has always captivated me, with the language and country’s beauty as well as the bucket list desire to be bilingual motivating me to work hard at it for years. My work ethic and improvement in French were recognised at GCSE level when I received the French award in my year group of 220 students. It was also recognised when I was appointed my school’s language leader at sixth form and awarded the overall school prize for French at the end of year 13. I hope these achievements show my love for the language and I’d love to use my knowledge to help your child improve their French grade! Lessons can be entirely tailored to them, whether you’d like me to be a linguist for them to practise speaking with, someone who goes through worksheets and vocab with them etc.
