About Noémie
I am a French student established in London to study law at King’s College for 2 years. I used to tutor in France and think that my teaching and French skills could be of use to pupils here too. I studied French, Latin, English and German, which allows me to explain French through etymology and convey a deeper comprehension of languages altogether.

Learning French is far more than acquiring a new language – it’s gaining a key to the wider world. With over 300 million speakers across 29 countries, French offers access to a rich and unique cultural, literary, and human heritage. It also sharpens your English: over a third of English vocabulary comes from French. This shared history allows you to understand the etymology, structure, and subtle nuances of your own language more deeply. I place great importance on teaching French in a way that is both engaging and well-structured. My lessons combine a literary approach: authentic texts, stories, cultural references; with practical skills for confident everyday communication. Whether your goal is to improve your speaking, broaden your horizons, or simply enjoy the beauty of the language, I’ll guide you with clarity, enthusiasm, and a supportive approach.

Full of knowledges + friendly and warm
= very good teacher :DShe’s my best friend who I met in high school. She’s very kind and open to help anyone without any judgment . I always ask her to read over my French and English essay, that she consciously corrects. Indeed she‘s got a complete mastery of French grammar and vocabulary, greater than most French people.
Noémie is clear, poised and easy to explain concepts. On top of that, she's very erudite, so she's perfectly capable of teaching French at a very advanced level. Her age also gives her a certain closeness to her students, which allows her to be more pedagogical in her teaching. In short, I can thoroughly recommend this teacher!

Details
I obtained a double Baccalaureate (high school graduation exam): the French Baccalaureate and the International French Baccalaureate (BFI). My grades in the French Literature end-of-year exams were 17/20 (A+) in the written exam and 19/20 (A++) in the oral exam. These also attest to my English qualifications: Cambridge C2 Proficiency and IELTS C1 Proficiency. I tutored a dyslexic and dyspraxic pupil for three years and have experience teaching French. Languages have always been my passion, and learning and teaching them is what I do best.
