About Frieda
Hey I’m Frieda! I am currently at the University of Manchester. I have a real passion for music and particularly the flute. I was inspired to play the flute at age six after hearing a flautist on a family holiday, and music has been central to my life ever since. I achieved distinctions in all of my exams up to Grade 8 ABRSM at 14. I’ve performed with Brighton Youth Orchestra and the Manchester University Orchestra, and competed in festivals with both flute and piano. I’m enthusiastic, patient, and love connecting with students. I am eager to share the joy, discipline, and creativity that music has brought to my life.

Whether you're a beginner, playing for fun, or working towards exams, I offer personalised and fun flute lessons. While I have experience teaching children flute and piano, I can teach any age with the same energy and passion for helping students grow in skill, confidence, and musical expression. I can be very flexible with times of teaching- I live in Saltdean but can travel into Brighton/Hove.
