About Emma
Hello, my name is Emma and I am from England. I am passionate about teaching English and I try to make my lessons relaxed and enjoyable. Having worked with students of many different ages and nationalities, I am very flexible and I am happy to tailor my lessons to suit your personal requirements and preferences. I am patient, easy-going and encouraging so even if you are shy you will soon be speaking English with confidence!
I have experience teaching Conversation English, Business English, Cambridge Exam Preparation Classes (A2 / B1 / B2) and I am also familiar with IELTS and OPIC. I have recently been teaching in South Korea so I am also familiar with the Elementary and Middle School curriculum. I am CELTA qualified and have a degree in English Literature & Classical Studies.

I use a variety of textbooks, conversation materials and learning activities to keep the lesson varied and engaging.
Lessons will be well-structured to ensure consistent progress in all key areas and to maximise our time together effectively. However, I also think it's important to allow for flexibility and spontaneity so that each lesson is interesting and enjoyable.
In our first meeting we will discuss your learning aims and any specific areas you may want to focus on during our time together.
