About Faith
I am a Computer Science graduate originally from Nigeria, now based in New Jersey, and a strong foundation in programming, mathematics, and technology. I have professional tutoring experience supporting students at the college level and currently teach STEM and coding to young learners in a classroom environment.
Beyond tutoring, I have built production-grade software systems, including an AI-powered compliance platform with which means I bring real engineering experience into my teaching. I understand how the concepts students learn in class connect to the real world, and I use that perspective to make lessons more meaningful and relevant.
I am patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in every student's progress. I believe that anyone can understand technology and mathematics with the right guidance, and I take pride in being that guide. My goal is always to help students not just pass their exams, but truly understand the material and grow in confidence.

I hold an Associate's degree in Computer Science with a 3.7 GPA and have hands-on tutoring experience supporting students across math, programming, and STEM subjects. I currently teach STEM and coding in a classroom setting and have built real-world AI and software systems professionally, so I bring practical knowledge into every lesson, not just textbook theory.
My approach starts with understanding where each student is struggling and why. I break down complex topics into smaller, digestible steps, use real examples to make abstract concepts click, and adjust my pace to match each learner. I never just give answers, I guide students to find them, which builds lasting confidence and independent thinking.
My lessons are suited for middle school, high school, and early college students studying math, Python, coding fundamentals, computer science concepts, or general STEM subjects. Whether you're preparing for an exam, catching up on coursework, or just want to understand the material more deeply, I will meet you where you are and help you get where you need to go.

I highly recommend Faith as a tutor. We have known each other as close friends and peers, and she is the exact kind of "Superprof" you want in your corner, deeply knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly inspiring. Her own commitment to learning actually motivated me to actively upskill and pursue more professional certifications myself.
Faith has a rare ability to adapt her teaching style to any age group. I have seen her seamlessly guide college juniors through complex academic material, and bring that same high-level patience and warmth to her work with young children in daycare settings. She doesn't just teach the material; she builds confidence. For anyone on Superprof looking for a dedicated, highly effective math tutor who truly cares about student growth, Faith is the perfect choice.View more recommendations
