About Nicky

After working in business for many years, I trained to become a TEFL teacher in 2023 ... and I love it! I enjoy working with students to understand their individual needs and seeing skills and confidence growing. I have a friendly and enthusiastic approach and have received good reviews from my current students.

Some reviews from my students on another platform:
'Our classes are fun and she always prepares the classes based on my needs. Really recommend her!'
'She is a kind and skillful teacher. It is a pleasure to participate in her classes. I definitely recommend her for the ones looking for a native speaker'
'Nicky is a great teacher. I am happy with her. She prepares the class according to your level and what you need to improve'

About the lesson

I use engaging class material that is personalised to every student. Topics will be based on your interests. Normally we would include speaking, reading, writing and listening activities. Although, if you prefer a more conversational class then this works too! I aim to improve your confidence and fluency, and your knowledge of English vocabulary and grammar.

I am a TEFL certified English tutor. I have a Humanities degree and a business background. I teach adult students of any level. Some of my students like to focus on business English, others on more general language skills.

Friendly & Patient (Native British) TEFL Teacher. Interesting classes personalised for every student at all levels. General or Business language skills. Let's work together to improve your English!
