About Caitlin
Hi! I’m Cait, a friendly and patient English tutor originally from Cape Town, South Africa, now based in Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve completed an accredited 120-hour TESOL/TEFL course and am passionate about helping students build confidence in their English skills.
I have 2 years of teaching experience as a swimming instructor, working with students aged 3 to 70. This has helped me develop a calm, encouraging teaching style and the ability to adapt lessons to different ages, levels, and learning styles.
I especially enjoy working with younger learners and beginners, creating fun, engaging lessons that make learning English feel natural and enjoyable. I also love to travel, so I’m happy to help students improve their English for real-life situations like trips, airports, and everyday conversations abroad.
