About Robin

I am a friendly and relaxed tutor who has a strong academic background. After gaining a first-class degree in History of Art from Cambridge, I decided to stay on and pursue an MPhil. Still being in education means I am directly aware of the struggles of advancing one's learning skills and knowledge, and able thus to shape our sessions to really develop your understanding of a topic without wasting any time.

About the lesson

I believe that forming sessions around your existing knowledge and skills is vital to advancing through tutoring. Therefore, I always tailor our sessions to you, never repeating slides or content from other clients, and always ensuring that you are not wasting time! I have taught large survey courses in History of Art, offered admissions preparation to a range of subjects to aspiring Oxbridge students and beyond.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Robin.

Perfect! Robin is an exceptional tutor, particularly for Oxbridge interview preparation. My school doesn’t offer History of Art at A level, but his enthusiasm, deep knowledge and engaging teaching style truly brought the subject to life. His interview preparation sessions were invaluable in building my confidence and understanding. I’m delighted to have received an Oxbridge offer for History of Art - thanks to Robin's expert guidance and support!
