About Leora

I’m a friendly and enthusiastic MSci Neuroscience student at the University of Nottingham, passionate about helping students learn, grow and achieve their academic goals. With a strong background in biology and science, I understand that everyone learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I explain challenging topics in a clear, simple and engaging way, using examples and practice questions to strengthen understanding. Whether you want to improve your grades, prepare for exams or simply feel more confident in your studies, I will tailor lessons to your individual needs and learning pace. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is friendly, patient and personalised to each student’s learning style and goals. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, visual aids, practice questions and active recall to make learning engaging and help students build confidence. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on individual needs.
As an MSci Neuroscience student at the University of Nottingham, I have a strong scientific background and excellent understanding of biology and related subjects. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, including GCSE Biology, with teaching adapted to each student’s age, ability and syllabus. My aim is to make challenging topics easier to understand while helping students improve their knowledge, exam technique and results.
