About MADHURAVANI
I’m Madhuravani, an IIT Madras graduate with a strong academic background and experience in teaching Mathematics and Science to school students. I have experience providing personalized one-to-one and online tutoring, helping students understand concepts clearly and improve their confidence.
My teaching is based on strong fundamentals, clear explanations, regular practice, and individual attention. I believe every student can learn well when concepts are explained in the right way and at the right pace.
I am a patient, approachable, and supportive tutor who encourages students to ask questions without hesitation. Rather than encouraging students to simply memorize formulas or answers, I focus on helping them understand the concepts and develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
I am familiar with the CBSE and ICSE curriculum and can support students with their regular school lessons, homework, worksheets, test preparation, revision, and difficult topics.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident, participate actively, and gradually become independent learners.

My Teaching Approach
Hello, I’m Madhuravani, an IIT Madras graduate with a strong academic background and experience in teaching Mathematics and Science to school students.
My teaching approach is concept-focused, student-friendly, and personalized. I believe that students learn best when they understand the why behind a concept rather than simply memorizing formulas or steps.
My Teaching Methods
I explain concepts in simple and easy-to-understand language.
I use real-life examples and practical applications to make Mathematics and Science interesting.
I break difficult topics into small, manageable steps.
I encourage students to ask questions and develop logical and analytical thinking skills.
I use practice questions, worksheets, problem-solving activities, and regular revision to strengthen understanding.
I adapt my teaching pace and method according to each student's learning level and individual needs.
For students who need additional support, I focus on building their basics, confidence, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
Typical Class Structure
A typical class begins with a short recap of previously learned concepts, followed by an introduction to the new topic. I then explain the concept step-by-step using examples and encourage the student to solve problems along with me.
The second part of the class focuses on guided practice, where I identify and correct mistakes. The class usually ends with independent practice, a quick review, and a few questions to check the student's understanding.
What Makes My Classes Different
With my IIT Madras academic background and teaching experience, I bring a combination of strong subject knowledge and a patient, supportive teaching style.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student has a different learning pace and different strengths. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions, overcome their fear of Mathematics and Science, and gradually become confident and independent learners.

Details
My tuition fees are based on the student's grade level, subject, learning requirements, and number of classes per week.
• Classes 1–5: ₹400 per hour
• Classes 6–8: ₹500 per hour
• Classes 9–10: ₹600 per hour
• Math & Science: Same hourly rates apply
• Regular monthly classes: Monthly packages are available for students attending 2–4 classes per week.
For example:
• 8 classes/month – starting from ₹3,200
• 12 classes/month – starting from ₹4,800
• 16 classes/month – starting from ₹6,400
I provide personalized one-to-one classes, concept explanations, guided practice, worksheets, homework support, revision, and exam-oriented preparation. Fees can be discussed based on the student's specific learning requirements and the number of classes needed.
