About Ritika
If you want structured, pronunciation-focused French with clear milestones and real accountability, not casual conversation practice, you’re in the right place.
I’ve been teaching French since 2021, working with students at every stage of the A1, A2 and B1 journey, from absolute beginners hearing French for the very first time, to dedicated learners building steadily toward DELF certification.
My approach is methodical and results-driven. Every lesson builds on the last, homework keeps you progressing between sessions, and pronunciation is treated as a priority from day one, not an afterthought. I use the trusted Saison series, aligned with the CEFR framework, so you always have a clear roadmap of where you are and what comes next.
I know the DELF journey from the inside. I passed the DELF B2 exam with a score of 82.5% and am currently preparing for DALF C1, which means I bring current, first-hand exam strategies directly into your lessons.
My background as a Chartered Accountant trained me in precision, structure, and clear systems. I bring that same mindset to teaching, so you always know where you are, where you’re headed, and exactly what it takes to get there.
This is the right fit if you are:
• A complete beginner starting from zero (A1)
• An early-stage learner building on the basics (A2)
• An intermediate learner ready to push further (B1)
• Preparing for DELF A1, A2 or B1 certification
• Looking for structure, regular homework, and measurable progress • Serious about speaking French with correct pronunciation from the start

French Language Classes for Adult Learners | Beginner to Lower Intermediate (A1 to B1)
My French classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), a trusted international standard that ensures clear, measurable progress at every stage. Whether you are starting from zero or building toward DELF certification, you will receive structured, results-oriented guidance tailored to your pace and goals.
Why My Classes Stand Out
• DELF-Certified and Still Learning: I passed the DELF B2 exam with 82.5% and am currently preparing for DALF C1. I know the exam journey first-hand and bring those insights directly into your lessons.
• Structured Curriculum: Every lesson follows the proven Saison series, fully aligned with CEFR, so you always know where you are and what comes next.
• Pronunciation from Day One: Most tutors leave pronunciation for later. I treat it as a foundation, so you build correct habits from your very first lesson.
• Accountability and Homework: Each lesson is reinforced with purposeful homework to keep you progressing between sessions and build real independence.
• Exam-Ready Preparation: Lessons are designed with DELF A1, A2 and B1 in mind, so your learning always has a clear target.
Curriculum at a Glance
• A1 | Saison 1 | 120 hours
• A2 | Saison 2 | 120 hours
• B1 | Saison 3 | 240 hours
Each level integrates listening, speaking, reading and writing, with consistent focus on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation throughout.
My Teaching Style Calm, patient and structured. I create a low-pressure environment where adult learners feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Progress is tracked consistently, and lessons are adapted to your real-life goals, whether that is travel, work, personal growth or DELF certification.
How Long Does A1 Take? It depends on your availability:
• Intensive learners: 3 to 6 months
• Part-time learners: 6 to 12 months Consistent attendance, active participation and completing homework are what make the difference.

- Lily has a sharp and sponge-like mind . She is sincere, motivated and has the right attitude. She has a better command of the French language than she gives herself credit for!Ritika's response :
Perfect! Ritika has helped me feel comfortable and excited about my abilities with French. When I started with her a couple of months ago I could hardly string a basic sentence together; now I am well on my way to grasping the basics of the language. My progress is thanks to Ritika! I highly recommend her as a tutor. She uses a combination of conversation and text-based exercises (from the 'Saison' series) which keeps each lesson ticking along. I've recommended her to at least one person already and will do so for others!

I had the opportunity to work with Ritika two years ago as she was a french assistant in our vocational school.
It was interesting the way she adapted to our only in english lessons and also the way she told us about her country of origine India.
We made a good team and the pupils loved listening to her with her little accent.
We also had the opportunity to exchange recipes from france and from India.
She also improved a lot in her speaking and writing French.
I would really recommend her as a teacher as she is also a great personality and an interesting person to have met both as a teacher and on a personal ground.
