About Toni
QTS | PGCE | Full DBS Checked
At 26 years old, I'm beginning my teaching career and building on my years of experience in English learning
After completing both a BA in Creative Writing and English Language, and an MA in Multilingualism, Linguistics, and Education, I decided to take a break from education to travel. During this break I found myself in rural Thailand, where I taught the most wonderful Thai students the English Language.
This experience cemented my decision to return to the UK and pursue a PGCE in Secondary English, which I obtained with QTS in July of 2025.
Now, I tutor students alongside my full-time teaching career in all English-related subjects.

Since qualifying last July with a PGCE and obtaining QTS in Secondary English, I have been teaching full time at a local school.
I have experience teaching learners from the age of 11 all the way to adult learners. With years of teaching and tutoring behind me, I can tailor sessions to every individual - sessions run from 1 hour online or in-person. I use the British GCSE curriculum but can discuss specific areas of development, such as literacy, prose/poetic/language analysis, creative writing, grammar, and everything in between.
I run sessions with a focused approach - our first session will outline topics and skills to focus on, which we can adapt as we progress through sessions - every learner deserves to feel heard in their education!

Toni is my partner's daughter . I have known Toni for 15 years and she is a kind , very clever, hardworking young lady.
Toni has worked very hard in her teaching role . She is committed and very patient.
I would recommend Toni to any student as she has a vast knowledge of English and puts people at ease with her professional and kind patient nature.
I have spent many hours over the years with Toni sharing what Toni has learnt and have been so proud of how far she has come .Toni is my wonderful daughter. She is kind, considerate, and is the most passionate person I know about her career as an English tutor.
She has outstanding intelligence and has the patience of a saint. Anyone lucky enough to have her as a tutor will not regret it.Toni is a tenacious young lady with an amazimg work ethic. Undeterred when things get hard, Toni spent months working in Thailand whilst maintaining internet tutoring at home. I am very grateful for her support for all the family. If you are looking for an empathetic tutor with the patience of a saint, Toni is knowledgable and kind and leaves you feeling confident and able.
