About Jake

I am a Simon Fraser University graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics, and have many years experience tutoring to all ages and abilities. While my specialty is math, I am also experienced in tutoring English, Computing Science and highschool level Physics. I have successfully helped young children and those with neurodiverse challenges re-gain mathematical confidence and build-up the foundational skills needed to succeed in their math courses.

About the lesson

For younger students I focus on building the mathematical foundations and habits that will be helpful with a longer term vision of education. For older students, I emphasize conceptual understanding and practice through application. I can help you catch up, get ahead, or just provide support in your education.
