About Renee

Hi! I’m Renee, and I’m originally from Hong Kong. I’m fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and can teach in any of those languages. I believe that a good tutor is patient, adaptable, and encouraging, creating a positive and supportive learning environment. As an avid language learner myself, I’ve studied French and am currently learning Japanese, so I truly understand both the challenges and the satisfaction that come with learning a new language. My approach is fun and interactive, tailoring each lesson to suit your level and goals. Let’s work together to make your learning experience enjoyable and successful!

About the lesson

I aim to create a learning experience that’s clear, interactive, and flexible. I believe language learning should be both effective and enjoyable, therefore my lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and skill level. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, my lessons are all about helping you grow in a fun and structured way.

My approach covers all aspects of language learning. I use a variety of methods to help you improve your reading, speaking, listening, and writing. Interactive games and exercises are built into the lessons to reinforce what you’ve learned, and homework and writing assignments are there to help you practice and solidify your skills.

Lesson Components:
• Reading: Focus on comprehension and expanding vocabulary.
• Speaking/Pronunciation/Conversation: Emphasis on speaking clearly, improving fluency, and building confidence.
• Interactive Games: Fun activities that help reinforce your language skills.
• Writing (traditional Chinese)/Homework Assignments: Exercises to practice and apply what you’ve learned.

Each lesson is customized to your level, and I provide materials that are designed to help you make steady progress.
