About Benjamin
A charismatic teacher, I really enjoy teaching and ensuring people are given a great musical experience. A performer in a classical duo, performing the great cello works for piano & cello.
I enjoy cycling distances whilst traveling, and reading random books on educational ideas in my spare time.

With over ten years of face-to-face teaching, graduating with a BMus in musical performance from Trinity Laban.
I offer a tailor-made approach to my lessons, depending on what goals the students want to set.
I have experience as a prep school teacher, which means I have a very approachable method for younger students.
During my time as the main teacher of the Jersey Academy of Music for the Cello, I have brought students successfully through their exams with success. As well as bringing a depth of understanding of music theory/history to each student.
They are fun and inspiring, mixed with relatable music theory, which enables the student to pass the aural exams/theoretical which go alongside instrumental learning.
