About Kyle
Hi there! My name is Kyle De Silva and I work as a freelance concept artist for the game industry. I graduated with my Bachelor in Game Design in 2015 and have been working in games in some capacity since then. I've had LOT of opportunities to work on awesome projects and create art over the years. I want to pass on my knowledge and experience in working in the games industry as an artist on to YOU. My teaching methodology is structured around a needs-based approach for students. In my sessions you can expect individualised learning that identifies and caters to the weaknesses that each student exhibits in their artwork and what habits and skills they need to learn in order to level up their art.
I offer lessons on art fundamentals, digital art techniques including matte painting, and Photoshop functionality, tips, shortcuts and ways to streamline your workflow, understand where you fit in as a concept artist and what is expected of you in the game production pipeline. Blender lessons will be available soon!

We at Studio Walking Fortress have known Kyle for several years now. We met him through our studies at Griffith University's Queensland Collage of Art: Bachelor of Games Design and have always been HUGE fans of Kyle's art work and who he is as a person.
We commissioned Kyle to do art for our studio and we couldn't describe the experience other then AMAZING! Kyle goes above and beyond expectation and goes into such fine detail to get the best product for you. He has a very professional hands on approach and keeps you well informed about where he is in the process and is very open to criticisms, making sure to produce what you have envisioned.
We would highly recommend Kyle to anybody who is wanting to learn new skills or hone their existing ones. He is an easy to get along guy who is passionate about what he does and is always willing to help.Kyle is a patient and knowledgable teacher. He is passionate about teaching and is a dedicated, amazing artist.
