About Sayeed
I'm Sayeed, originally from India and now settled in Leeds. Maths and science have always been the subjects I understood most naturally, and over time I realised I enjoy something else just as much helping someone else get to that same "click" moment.
I'm patient and easy to talk to, and I make sure no question ever feels "too silly" to ask. Good tutoring, to me, is as much about making a student comfortable as it is about the subject itself and that's something I take seriously.

My approach starts with a quick diagnostic in the first session — I need to see exactly where the gaps are before deciding how to teach, rather than following a fixed syllabus blindly. From there, I break topics down into simple, real explanations first, then move into past-paper style questions once the concept has actually clicked, so students get used to how exam boards like AQA, Edexcel and OCR phrase and mark questions. Understanding the maths is one thing — knowing how to score full marks under exam conditions is another, and I focus on both.
Lessons typically run 60 minutes, though I can adjust to 45 or 90 minutes depending on the topic and how a student is doing on the day — some sessions need more time to properly bed in a concept.
I don't hold a formal UK teaching qualification, but I've tutored for years, including taking my own cousins through tough exam preparation, helping them go from struggling with basics to confidently solving advanced problems. I also cleared IIT-JEE Advanced, one of the world's toughest entrance exams, which reflects a genuinely deep grasp of maths, physics and chemistry fundamentals.
My lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students of any age, studying Maths, Physics or Chemistry — whether you're catching up on the basics or pushing for the top grades.
