About Mia
I've loved reading since I was in Primary School and my enthusiasm for literature was cultivated through my studies at GCSE and A Level. I enjoy exploring the different interpretations and meanings created within literary texts and forming those opinions into essays. I know a lot of people struggle with writing essay-style answers, but I believe that encouraging an understanding of the text you are studying is the key to success in English Literature.

I can provide help with GCSE and A Level English topics.
I studied with the exam board OCR at A Level but I can help with the content from any board.
Depending on what the student feels they need help with, I can create revision resources or provide explanation sheets to help with the understanding of content.
I also sometimes set a few questions for students to work through independently, which I will be able to mark and use to assess progress.
Lessons tend to be an hour long but I'm happy to accommodate different needs.
I've tutored students before, so I have been able to refine the structure of my lessons.
