About Adam
For the past decade I've been helping some of the brightest students in the UK achieve their academic goals and rediscover their love for reading philosophy and religion. My mission has been to enable other people’s growth through exceptional rapport building and inspiring self-confidence. After qualifying as a teacher in 2015 at the UCL Institute of Education and obtaining a Master's degree in Philosophy in 2019 from the University of London I developed my expertise as a private tutor and mentor at Latymer Upper School in Chiswick. My former students have secured careers in national security, medicine (Oxford) and law (King’s College London).

Thanks to my own Study Smart System, I have been successful in helping students from top schools like Latymer Upper, King's Canterbury or St Marylebone achieve top marks in up to 4-6 weeks. I will help you turn your interests into passions. Together we’ll identify your core strengths and use them to your advantage to master your essay-writing. I'm available now for a free 1-h video-call trial. In my Study Smart System, I focus on three key areas: First, your knowledge: we’ll revise and link all key ideas to secure your understanding of the core curriculum. Next, your exam technique: after each session you’ll write a 12/15-mark assignment for which I’ll give you feedback within 24 hours. Finally, your love of the subject: once you’ve mastered the art of argument, we’ll dive deeper into ideas that link the learning to your own interests. This will enable you to enjoy your writing with a sense of clarity and conviction. This will secure a top grade in your exam.

Perfect! Adam was utterly brilliant with my son, who had lessons with him in RS in the lead-up to his GCSEs. He inspired my son so much that he started to read more widely around the subject, became super enthusiastic about doing Philosophy A-Level, and ended up getting a v high 9 in his GCSE exam. I attribute a lot of this to Adam's excellent teaching and my son has asked to have more lessons with him when he gets further into his A-Levels. Highly recommended.
- Thank you for such a wonderful review. I loved working with Theo, a diligent and curious student who who took the best advantage of our sessions.Adam's response :

Adam is an outstanding tutor. He has helped my son with his GCSE Religious Studies immeasurably, not only giving him techniques and strategies for the exam, but also inspiring him with interesting and probing conversations around the topics, which my son has thoroughly enjoyed. My son always looked forward to the lessons and has now asked me if he can continue lessons with Adam when he starts his Philosophy A-Level next year. Highly recommended.
Through tutoring with Adam, my daughter's understanding of how to approach her RS GCSE has made a huge difference. In her last assessment at St Marylebone CofE school, she scored 11/12. It has really boosted her confidence. During our parent teacher meeting this week, her teachers commented on her marked improvement - after only 8 hours of tuition. I highly recommend Adam to anyone wanting fast, effective results.
Great tutor who provides insight
Very good tutor he got me through my philosophy a level whilst helping me enjoy the subject massively.
Adams tutoring was invaluable to me when I was studying A level philosophy. He helped me work through past paper questions that I found challenging and also helped me understand topics I found particularly difficult such as long winded set texts. His help was instrumental in improving my philosophy marks.
Adam is an exceptional tutor. His deep understanding of the subject matter combined with his excellent grasp of what motivates students means that he provides consistent results. It bears mentioning that he is also wonderful company and very funny. I can't recommend him highly enough.
