About Farhan
I've always enjoyed science, especially understanding why things work rather than just memorising facts.
Having recently sat my GCSEs, I know how frustrating it can be when you understand a topic, but the exam questions make it seem ten times harder than it actually is.
That's one of the main reasons I want to tutor. I enjoy breaking down complicated ideas, helping others understand difficult topics and seeing things finally click.
I'm friendly, patient and happy to explain something as many times as needed. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence without feeling judged.

My lessons are held online and tailored to each student's individual needs.
Before each lesson, students can let me know which GCSE Biology or Chemistry topics they'd like to cover, allowing me to prepare clear explanations and relevant resources in advance.
During our 60-minute sessions, we'll work through the chosen topics step by step, making sure the key concepts are understood before moving on to exam-style questions.
We'll then tackle past-paper questions together, focusing on exam technique, mark schemes and how to gain the most marks possible.
My aim is to create a friendly, relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
