My teaching methodology is to focus on the end goal and overcome challenges in getting there. Everyone has a motivation and it is important to keep that as a central factor in teaching. Whether it be exam preparation, catching up with missed work or cover challenging subject areas, the end goal must always be at the heart of teaching. I try to offer a practice based approach, reviewing how to answer questions in exam, how best to revise for tests and reviewing past test materials. This means that once we’ve covered the general themes of the subject, we can focus on weaknesses and constantly test students to show a steady improvement.
