About Aj
Hello, I'm a dedicated tutor who combines the principles of "ikigai" and "kaizen" in my teaching approach. Ikigai, a Japanese concept, translates roughly to "reason for being". It represents the intersection of what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. This philosophy enables me to identify and harness my passion for teaching, turning it into a meaningful vocation that benefits my students.
I also believe in Kaizen, or continuous improvement. I'm committed to lifelong learning, constantly refining my teaching methods, and seeking out new knowledge to stay abreast of developments in education. I believe that every lesson, every interaction with a student, is an opportunity to learn and grow. This dedication to continuous improvement ensures that I can provide the best possible education for my tutees.
Equality of opportunity is a core principle that I uphold. I believe that every student, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves a fair chance to reach their potential. I strive to ensure that all my students feel valued, understood, and supported, and I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual's unique learning style.
With a deep passion for education and a relentless pursuit of excellence, I am committed to helping my students succeed. As your tutor, I promise to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that will help you realize your academic goals and instil a lifelong love for learning. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic or preparing for an important exam, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Let's make the most of this journey together!

Welcome to my tailored tutoring sessions, designed to empower learners and prepare them for success in their upcoming exams. My teaching philosophy is largely inspired by the model of "Teach Like A Champion", a technique proven to cultivate academic excellence and create dynamic learning environments.
The primary focus of my lessons is to align closely with the exam specifications. Each lesson is meticulously designed to cover specific objectives that reflect the requirements of the exams. This targeted approach allows us to focus on key areas and topics, mastering them thoroughly to ensure full readiness for the examinations.
However, learning is about much more than merely passing exams. It is my firm belief that positive relationships form the cornerstone of effective education. I endeavour to cultivate a warm and encouraging atmosphere in all my sessions, enabling tutees to build their confidence and enrich their learning experience. I consider myself not just a tutor, but also a mentor who is committed to fostering a productive and positive learning environment.
Throughout my lessons, you can expect open communication, consistent feedback, and personalized support. Whether we're discussing complex theories or working on practical problems, I always aim to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
Let's embark on this educational journey together to achieve your academic goals while making the process rewarding and fun!
