About Jivesh
I support GCSE English students in building confidence and developing the skills needed for top grades through a personalised, non-traditional approach.
How am I different? I focus on identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses and tailoring lessons to them as not everyone learns in the same way.
English is a subject everyone has an untapped interest in, and with a helping hand, students are able to develop their creative thinking leading to better exam results.
Me for example, English hasn’t always been my strongest suit. Going from 4/5s in my mocks to getting 9s in the real thing was a big step up. This made me realise that English is more about your exploratory mindset rather than relying on set frameworks to secure average marks.

Highly recommend Jivesh to anyone struggling with GCSE English right now! Great teacher, who gives really useful feedback on my work. He’s massively improved my confidence and grades :)
Jivesh is a great colleague and tutor who teaches in an incredibly engaging, accessible manner, taking the time to understand each student’s individual needs. His friendly, supportive approach really helps students to thrive.
Jivesh is an excellent English tutor who helped lift my grades from a 6 to an 8. He’s patient, clear, and genuinely invested in his students’ progress, with a knack for explaining tricky grammar and vocabulary in ways that actually stick. He also offered thoughtful, constructive feedback that made a real difference. I’d recommend him to anyone looking to improve their English.
Jivesh has been an amazing tutor for me and helped me to go from struggling to get 4s and 5s in GCSE English mocks to 8s and 9s. I can’t thank him enough for his tutoring and recommend him to anyone struggling with GCSE English.
