With a rich and diverse teaching career spanning 22 years, I bring much experience to tutoring. Specialising in GCSE English for the past eight years, I have successfully guided students to achieve outstanding results. Additionally, my roles as a former head of an English department and an AQA examiner have equipped me with a deep understanding of curriculum design and assessment criteria. Beyond traditional teaching, I have seamlessly transitioned to over six years of online instruction, mastering the nuances of virtual education. My commitment lies in creating personalised and engaging learning experiences, and fostering a love for literature and language while equipping students with the skills they need for academic success and beyond.
