About Virginia

I have worked in comprehensive and private secondary schools in the UK as Head of department for 15 years. I have helped hundreds of students reach their potential during their GCSE and A-Level examinations. I now work mostly online ensuring the learning experience is as enjoyable and smooth as possible.

We focus on all the areas required: speaking, listening, reading and writing to boost your confidence at all levels.

I have a language teaching degree from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina. I also gained Qualified Teacher Status from Reading University in the UK.

About the lesson

I offer fun and friendly lessons to help my students gain confidence using the language and reach their potential in their exams. I use a structured approach which can help you learn in a smooth and enjoyable manner.

During the lessons, we will use a combination of interactive activities, videos, songs and traditional resources to suit your interest and needs.

I can take you from complete beginner to advanced level and anywhere in between!

Virginia is absolutely amazing!

My son decided in year 8 he wanted to take Spanish as a language option at a new school the following year. Within three months, Virginia assisted him in catching up the year 7 and 8 curriculum.
Expecting there to still be gaps, it came as a pleasant surprise that after the first term in year 9, he was one of the top performers in Spanish for his year group. A testament to the quality of Virginia’s tutoring.

She has a warm, professional approach. Is always timely and very organised. Online tutoring can always be a bit daunting, but Virginia made it work so well.

I strongly recommend her services.

Thanks Virginia.

Virginia has been my Spanish teacher for several years, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! She is kind, patient and knowledgeable.
She is always happy to answer any questions I have regarding my assignments or any other topics that arise during my learning.
I also enjoy the variety in her classes. We use a textbook, while also doing other activities such as discussing movies.
Lastly, I love that she is from Argentina, allowing me to explore Spanish cultures and vocabulary from both South America and Spain.
