About Louise
Science has always been my passion. I achieved excellent GCSE grades and completed science A levels, and today, I am especially fascinated by microbiology and field research. I recently spent time studying at a remote biological station in Finland for a specialised university module in Arctic Ecology—an incredible hands-on experience tracking ecosystems in extreme environments.
Outside of the lab, I am a passionate rock climber. Climbing requires focus, problem-solving, and a lot of patience—qualities that I bring directly into my tutoring sessions.

My lessons are completely student-led, relaxed, and focused on building confidence. Having achieved amazing GCSEs myself, but also having navigated difficult personal circumstances during my later school years, I know exactly what it feels like to face academic hurdles. I don’t just lecture; I act as a relatable mentor who helps students manage stress, stay organised, and realise that a tough patch doesn’t define their future.
