About Aoife
Hi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic sixth-form student who has recently completed my GCSEs, achieving 8 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 8s. I’m now studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A level and have a particular interest in STEM.
Having gone through the GCSEs myself recently, I know how challenging certain topics and exam preparation can feel. I want to make tutoring a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are able to build their confidence.
I’m passionate about helping others understand topics rather than simply memorising them, and I enjoy finding different ways to explain something until it clicks. Whether you need help with a particular topic, exam technique or general revision, I’ll tailor lessons to suit you and your goals.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, supportive and tailored to each student. As I have recently completed my GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and can explain topics in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
I focus on identifying areas the student finds difficult, breaking topics down step-by-step and then practising exam-style questions to build confidence and improve exam technique. I also adapt lessons depending on whether the student needs help understanding content, revising for a test or preparing for their GCSEs.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs.
I achieved 8 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 8s in my GCSEs and am offering tutoring in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Lessons are aimed at GCSE students, particularly those looking to strengthen their understanding, improve their confidence or work towards higher grades.
