About Geneviève

Hi! My name is Genevieve and I am a student at the University of Waterloo in Materials and Nanocience. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and build lifelong skills. My approach to teaching emphasizes creating a dynamic and nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to explore, tackle challenges, and grow at a pace that suits them. I am dedicated to breaking down complex concepts into straightforward, digestible pieces, enabling learners to build a strong foundation and gain the confidence to excel.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive, engaging, and adaptable learning environment that caters to each learner's unique needs. I tailor lessons based on the learner's current knowledge, learning style, and goals. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, ensuring foundational understanding before advancing. I encourage questions and provide constructive feedback to build confidence and address misconceptions. I also integrate visual aids when appropriate to enhance understanding. Am I the tutor for you? Perfect! Geneviève helped me tremendously. She has a remarkable ability to break down challenging questions into their basic principles, making them much easier to understand. She is patient and always takes the time I need to succeed. I highly recommend her to anyone needing help with physics!
