About Connel
I’m Connel, a recent graduate in Geography, Society and Environment from Heriot-Watt University. After achieving a first-class degree - and writing a dissertation piece in the process of being published - I’ve always had an eye for detail and the enthusiasm to expand my knowledge.
In my current full-time role, I am Vice President Education of Heriot Watt University Student Union. As a director/trustee of the charity, I have legal oversight of the organisation. However, most importantly, I lead on the representation of students academic interests and concerns to the university. I’ve always loved being a voice for people, and after securing the vote of just short of 900 students, those around me can feel my passion to help others.
